A flexible publishing workflow for creators. Start with a writing and visual-production path, then add voice, video generation, editing, or distribution only when your format and output volume require them.
Cost structure
Core software: There is no universal creator total. A text-and-visual route starts with Claude Pro ($20/month) and Midjourney Basic ($10/month); Buffer Free covers up to three channels.
Optional upgrades: Voiceover starts at $6/month with ElevenLabs. Runway Standard is $15/month monthly or $12/month on annual billing. Grammarly Pro is $12/month on annual billing or $30 monthly.
Variable costs: Video and voice output consume credits or quotas. Paid scheduling scales with the number of connected channels; a separate video editor may also be required.

Decision profile
These labels describe the complete setup. They do not make a blanket privacy, licensing, or commercial-use claim for every component.
The selected products are managed online services. Export and storage choices may create additional data and cost considerations.
Commercial use depends on each product plan, output type, and applicable copyright, likeness, and platform rules.
This is a managed cloud workflow; it does not require model downloads or self-hosting.
Most components are self-serve. The main work is choosing only the layers that match your publishing format.
Open Claude with your video outline. Ask it to write a 10-minute script with hooks, transitions, and a CTA. You get a solid first draft in 8 minutes instead of 3 hours โ then spend your real time on your delivery, not the blank page.
Add this only when narration is part of the format. Its subscriptions include a monthly credit quota, so the right plan depends on output length and volume. Comparing ElevenLabs to Murf AI? See our full comparison โ
Choose one visual-production route. Midjourney is a paid image-generation option for creators who need a consistent visual direction or frequent thumbnail concepts; it is not required for text-only publishing.
Your script needs B-roll: a city at night, ocean waves, a busy cafรฉ. You don't need stock footage. Type the scene, get 30 seconds of usable video in under 2 minutes. Mostly background material, but it saves hours of searching.
Use a scheduler only if you publish repeatedly across channels. Buffer's free tier supports up to three channels; paid plans scale by channel rather than one universal creator fee.
Use it when dedicated writing review adds value beyond your primary assistant. The free plan covers basic checks; paid value depends on your editing volume and language needs.
Open slot
Required for video formats. Runway can create assets, but choose a separate editor for assembly, captions, audio sync, and final export.
Every swap has a cost. Here's exactly what you give up โ and whether it's worth paying to keep.
You lose: larger context window ยท daily message caps ยท most natural long-form prose
Free tiers handle most scripts; upgrade once you're writing long pieces daily and hitting limits.
You lose: artistic quality ยท style consistency ยท higher thumbnail CTR
Bing is genuinely free DALL-E 3 โ perfectly fine to start with.
You lose: reliable monthly credits ยท output volume
Use a free option only to test the format. Upgrade after video generation becomes a repeatable part of your publishing process.
You lose: tone detection ยท clarity & rewrite suggestions
Free catches grammar and spelling โ the basics are covered. Skip entirely if you write in Chinese.
